As part of Ford Motor Co.’s “Drive One 4 UR School” fund-raising program, Ford and its local dealers are kicking in $20 for every test drive that students arrange. Schools can raise up to $6,000 a year, and many are finding it’s an easy and fast way to raise money.

UPDATED AT 2:23 PM — WASHINGTON — The largest federal aid ever offered to the U.S. auto industry passed the Senate today, as a $25-billion loan program won final approval from Congress after a three-month industry blitz.
